Go Green Drive

On 2nd Sep 2016, there was a Go Green Drive held in the Prep School. Four trees (2 Palm & 2 Guava) were planted in the prep school premises by the Prep School children. The tree were a gift from Shivika Puri father. Shivika is a student of Prep I N. The Director obliged us with his kind presence.

JANAMASHTMI CELEBRATIONS IN YADAVINDRA PUBLIC SCHOOL

On 24th August 2016, Janamashtmi was celebrated in YPS with great enthusiasm. Gunraj Kaur and Hiren Jain Class IV spoke on the significance of Janamashtmi. It was followed by a melodious hymn 'Yashomati Maiya' by the Junior School choir. Dakshita Bhalla of V-P recited a poem 'Kadamb Ka Ped'. The Junior School girls presented a dance on the remix songs of Lord Krishna. The programme ended with the National Anthem. The school Director Maj Gen Sanjiv Varma, VSM (Retd) appreciated the effort made by the children.

YADAVINDRA PUBLIC SCHOOL, PATIALA, JOINS IN THE EN MASSE SINGING OF NATIONAL ANTHEM

The staff and students of Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, participated  in the   mass  singing of the National Anthem carried out as a part of the Azadi 70 – ‘ Yaad Karo Kurbani ‘ ( Freedom Fortnight ) ceremony to commemorate the 70th year of Indian Independence  on Tuesday , August 23.

The solemn exercise  was initiated  at the behest of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development  ,Government Of India , and entailed  all the  schools   across the state /Union Territory congregating at the stroke of 11 am to collectively sing the National Anthem , ‘Jana Gana Mana ‘ together  on their respective school premises.

The ritual was a rich and fervorous  display of our national feelings and a most  befitting tribute to our motherland.
