Round square Zoom postcard meet at Appleby college, Toronto, Canada. The topic was Truth and Reconciliation- Is it really happening.
YPS students Geetanjali Mann (X P), Manyata Sethi (X O), Kanav Bansal (X E), Reyaan Athwal (Xi Sc) participated in this conference. The students came to know about the history, cultural heritage and indigenous people of Canada. This helped students develop compassion and kindness as they were touched by the grim reality of their rehabilitation.
Another group of students from Junior school took part in the Round Square inclusive project on Time to enhance your skills. Aarav Puri(III P), Kabir Singh Shergill (III P), Rehmat (IV O), Aarav (IVO), Parthiv (V N), Kriti Gajrani (V N) were part ofa collaborative meeting with Special need children along with mainstream students through virtual session conducted by Genesis Global School. The students participated in a plethora of activities which helped them to enhance their skill set and to make them capable to celebrate diversity through inclusivity. This platform encouraged students’ participation and inclusion which definitely lead to sensitization and an appreciation towards strengths and different abilities of the children. They participated in various group activities that focused on building skills, teamwork skills and most importantly, it really helped them to understand their peers and support the most needed.
