YADAVINDRIANS HIT THE ROADS TO CELEBRATE THE REOPENING OF SCHOOL
The schools are reopened after a long wait. The Yadavindrians, excited for this much awaited reopening, hit the roads early morning to express their happiness. In a short cycling expedition, a group of 21 students and 4 teachers pedalled for a total 32 Kms in and around the city. YPS, Patiala has always emphasised on fitness among students and staff members. Especially during the times of pandemic, the students have suffered a lot physically and academically.
This short fitness activity was refreshing and uplifting for all as they are elated to come back to their school routine. Cycling expeditions and other fitness activities are an important part of the school's curriculum. Every year a large number of students used to participate. But this time, keeping the COVID restrictions and safety norms in mind, the group had a limited number of participants. The participants followed all the COVID and road safety rules during this activity.
With the success of this activity, we wish and hope for situations to remain favourable so that more students can participate next time.
