Music & Dance

SEVEN rules the roost ! The seven – year itch, The seven colors of the sagacious spectrum…. and of the rainbow, The seven wonders of the world, The seven notes of music.

What else do we want?

Life is celebrated in the music hobby.

From the first step of a toddler to negotiating all those contours of a dance performance – evolution of humankind on a mini-scale. Dance – the natural heir to music. And, thus the hobby.

Art & Needle Work

Green for lushness, Red for ire, White for peace- Life is a colourful riot of colours, reserved for revelry.

We, blatantly, imitate life in Art Hobby, to save it of banal boredom

Life is all about stitching joys with sorrows-making them one, remaining unaffected by both.

The hobby personifies this philosophy on fabric, helping us to become complete human beings.

Nature Club & Gardening

One of our earliest acquaintances, besides mother, is with nature.

The passion and pursuit grows, in the hobby, in the close proximity of plants and trees, sheltering us from all evil with their benign presence.

A slightly rugged cousin of the nature club hobby. Squatting on the ground to till the soil

grappling with allkinds of tools and implements, and seeing life in all its starkness and nakedness, is what this hobby is all about.

Book Reading & Photography

This place is book-ed. And so is this hobby, with sufficient number of students opting for it. One irony of mankind is that as we age, our brains grow, but our minds shrink.

This hobby with its treasure-trove of books elevates mind and ennobles thinking. Poetry is a befitting bonus.Drawback of eye is it cannot reveal to the world what it sees, a camera can.

A store house of memories, it helps you to relive those moments, when times are not so friendly.

Photography polishes that skill for a happy future.

Chess & Calligraphy

Your mind needs to know the slither of a snake, if you want to play chess well.

Moreover, Vishwanathan Anand has given an altogether new recognition to the game in the country.

Hence, the rush for the hobby.

Some people profess to know a person’s character through his handwriting. Isn’t that a claim enough to make the art of calligraphy significant in its own right, besides other ‘beautiful’ reasons.

Home Science

Now, come on! How can we leave the vital food behind?

Moreover, cooking skills merit high, among girls, when it comes to matrimonial qualifications.

Chefs of the country, too, are doing a good business. Aren’t they?

The above-cited reasons make the Home science lab a bustling place.

Horse Riding

The school maintains a Horse Riding Club. It has 10 horses.

A large number of students use this facility
