It was a celebration day in YPS campus today. After a completely stressed out week of unit tests, the festive spirit of Christmas was witnessed among students and the staff. As the winter break is going to commence from tomorrow, all the students and the teachers forgathered to celebrate Christmas.

Bedecked Christmas trees, glitters, candy canes, bells…. activity area of prep school was beautifully accessorized as our tiny tots, Prep I students performed for the first time on the stage. Children dressed in beautiful costumes of Fairies, Pixies, Snowmans, Santas and Shepherds performed an enthralling dance number. The students of classes II-V performed a nativity play highlighting the spirit of festival, birth and sacrifices of Jesus Christ for sake of humanity. The melodious Christmas carol sung by junior students added more festivity to the atmosphere. It was a delight to see such excitement in the children who brought the Christmas spirit to life. An art competition was also held as a part of Christmas celebrations. At YPS, all the festivals are celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. The idea is to enlighten students about the importance of festivals and celebrating them together as a community. Christmas is the festival to care and spread love, joy, happiness.
