A young talented shooter from Yadavindra Public School, Patiala holds a New National Record in the National Shooting Championship held in Bhopal, Recently.
Mridvika Bhardwaj of IX O took part in the 64th National Shooting Championship held in Bhopal. This was her first National participation and she has created a New National Record during this championship. Mridvika has won a Silver medal with a score of 625.8 in 10 m Air Rifle in Sub Youth Category. As a result of her scintillating performance in the sport, she now holds a place amongst the top 8 in the final Youth category and also has also been Ranked 10th in the Junior category.
This 14-year-old shooter already has several medals in her kitty. She was declared as State Champion after her participation in the 55th Punjab State Shooting Championship at Mohali, held earlier this year. She bagged Gold medal in Sub-Youth (Under-16), Youth (Under-19), Junior (Under-21) and Senior (Above-21).
This promising player of YPS, Patiala now aims for the 2024 Olympics. We wish her all the best.
