Donations are significant part of the celebrations. As YPS is celebrating 75 years of remarkable existence in the field of education, a Blood Donation camp was organised in the school campus. This camp was a part of many events which are planned to celebrate YPS at 75 during the academic year 2022-23.

The Blood Donation Camp was organised with the help of a team of doctors from Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. All the students, their parents, YPS staff and Old Yadavindrians volunteered for this act of kindness. The camp was organised in the building of YPS Boys Boarding House. The volunteer students not only donated blood but also helped in the smooth conduct of the event. The refreshments were also arranged for the donors. At the end, the certificates were given to the donors to appreciate their contribution.

Around 50 units were collected during the 2 hrs camp. “Donating blood is one act of selflessness and kindness as it can save many lives. This year we are celebrating YPS legacy of 75 years and this camp is our small effort to give something back to the society,” expressed Maj Gen Sanjiv Varma, VSM (Retd.), Director YPS Patiala.
