The Rock band performance was a major highlight of this year’s House Night. The Day 2 of the Inter house competition saw a new addition this year with glittering lights, thumping beats and enthralling music. The auditorium reverberated with live Rock Band performance of the Houses (MH. PH and DRH).
All the houses performed under the same pattern starting with House song followed by electrifying Rock music and melodious vocal performance. The opening performance was given by Dhani Ram House (DRH) with engaging music of Queen (Bohemian rhapsody) smells like teen spirit, The wipeout venture.
The Phulkians not only named their band as ‘The Undisputed Blues’ but also made everyone dance on their tunes of Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of Black Pearl and Turkish March arpeggio.
The Mohindrians ended the show on a more cheerful note when Tomo Hiro, a new exchange student from Japan sang ‘Linda Linda’, a song for happy souls. All the performances received a loud applause from the audience.
This competition was a major breakthrough in extracurricular activities of YPS.
