The National Cadet Corps (NCC) provides all round development to the children along with a sense of service, commitment, dedication and discipline. To inculcate leadership skills and to encourage students to join Indian forces, YPS, Patiala offers two wings of NCC i.e. Army and air force for boys and girls. Around 25 students of 3 PB SQN Air Wing NCC underwent flying and weapon drill at Firing Range Dhablan and NCC Hanger. This drill was conducted as a part of their NCC curriculum.
The NCC cadets of YPS also actively contribute in all the distinct activities specially the social activities conducted by the school. The cadets go through training sessions twice a week. All the activities and trainings are performed under the supervision of O/T Mr. Chandan Baitha, Associate NCC Officer of YPS, Patiala.
