YPS team congratulates Varun Khatri of class VIII-E for winning the Gold medal and a trophy in the recently held Punjab School State Level U-14 Boys Cricket Tournament at Faridkot. Varun’s exceptional talent in the game got him selected for this tournament where he played 3 matches and took 5 wickets.
Varun is the captain of the YPS U-14 Cricket team. This promising cricketer of YPS started playing at the age of 8 yrs. Since then, he has played several IPSC, State, District, and Inter-school level matches. He has always been a good performer and bagged several accolades in the game. He has also been selected by PCA for the U-14 Patiala team.
