Good communication skills play a vital role in the overall development of a child during the academic years. The ability to express themselves effectively helps them to excel in every sphere of life. The foundation of this essential skill is laid early in YPS at Foundation Wing. Three different competitions were organised for the students at the end of Third term.
The Junior most Yadavindrians participated in Poem Recitation activity. It was a delight to watch them reciting the poems confidently which shows a true Yadavindrian’s quality. Some of them recited a self-composed poem.
A Just a Minute competition was organized for Prep-I students, where they had to speak on the given topics for a minute. The kids presented their thoughts on various topics like safety, professions, my home, Christmas, etc.
Prep II students participated in a Show-n-Tell activity. The students prepared on the topic of their choice. This activity not only adds to the information quotient of the child but also helps in building confidence.
All these activities help students to come out of their shell and be vocal about their thoughts. The teachers encouraged them to use different vocabulary words to strengthen their command of the language. It was gratifying to see our tiny tots performing confidently on the stage without fear.
