Today the school celebrated the 112th birthday of its visionary founder, His Highness Maharaja Yadavindra Singh. A special assembly was organised close to the grand statue of the Founder, in front of the main school building. The ceremony began with a warm welcome by School Captain Vardhan Bansal and Head Girl Divroop Kaur Sandhu.
Divroop shared a brief account of the founder's life, highlighting his remarkable achievements as a visionary leader, educationist, and philanthropist. Vardhan spoke about the founder's vision for Yadavindra Public School, which was established in 1948 as an alternative to Aitchison College, Lahore.
The event included a religious ceremony, floral tributes, and the Headmaster’s address. He emphasised on the importance of gratitude and thankfulness and how each one of us, connected with the school in one way or the other, remains indebted to the Founder, Maharajadhiraj Yadavindra Singh.
The event concluded with a sense of gratitude, pride, and renewed commitment to upholding the founder's ideals of excellence, integrity, and service.
